Review on Niramaya Villas & Spa - Trip Advisor

Stayed here for 5 nights with my husband and 2 children (age 3 and 6). We stayed in villa 14 which we booked through Ray White Real Estate. It was amazing! This place was so beautiful, beyond expectations. The villa was beautiful, the private plunge pool was perfect, and of course the weather in Port Douglas in August was perfect! You will need a car if you stay here as Niramaya is not within walking distance of the main street in Port Douglas, but that was not an issue for us at all. I wish we had booked for 10 nights! I hope we can return to Niramaya soon.   Kelly

Could not rate our stay at Niramaya highly enough. From start to finish, everything was just perfect. The booking was so easy and Sharon (the owner) was so lovely and helpful. And also had some great recommendations (Nautilus for a meal is fantastic - dining in the rainforest). The villa itself was fantastic. It is very rare to turn up to accommodation where it looks as in good shape in real life as it does in the photos, but this place did it!!! Everything was so clean and tidy and you can tell the owners put a lot of care and attention into this place. The style was incredible and our favourite has to be the private pool. The bed was super comfy and the main bathroom was incredible, with a huge tub and fantastic shower. The day bed and sun beds were great for lying out during the day and the outdoor dining table was great for brekky by the pool. We hardly left the whole time we were there and really struggled to pull ourselves away on the last day!!! The place was also so peaceful. I don't think we saw or heard another person the whole time we were there!! And the stars at night were just incredible as there was no light pollution what so ever. All the small things were taken care of, which were great, just basics like oil for cooking, salt and pepper, cling wrap and foil etc. And plenty of plates, cutlery and pots and pans. There was a great little book library and did selection (not that we watched much tv). The location is also perfect. A 5 min drive into the main strip. Can not recommend this villa highly enough. Well worth every cent. We look forward to visiting again in the future :)    Michelle   Sydney
